Having your name of the back of a pack of Ernie Ball strings is the ultimate. I have sat and read the names my whole life, you are a very lucky man. Love the videos, keep up the awesome work!!

"For a 25.5" ideally, NOT a baritone" *puts them on a baritone scale*

Back in my day 12-56 was fine for a B tuning. Kids these days...

Bruh, as someone looking to cover Drop A# through Drop C on a PRS, you said everything I wanted to hear. Picking up a set later today.

I've played on acoustic for about 10 years and just picked up an electric rig from a pawn shop. When I went to string it I grabbed ernie ball strings specifically due to you. I since have decided to go to a heavier string since I find my self in Eb or D tuning regularly. I will again grab ernie ball. Thank you for being an influence in honing my craft.

Just because I can I’ll put these on my Telecaster and tune it to E standard

Wound 3rd string is so much better tuned down. So glad to see this and I plan to try them on my B-to-B baritone.

I've used these in C standard to G# standard on a 25.5' guitar, fantastic strings

I’ve used Ernie ball’s “not even slinky” (12-56) strings on my 25.5” guitar in drop A and it’s a little loose but definitely still tolerable so it’s crazy to think that there are people who use like 13-64 for stuff like drop C but I guess to each his own

"I helped design a pack of stringd and my name is on the back...which is pretty cool??? That is freaking awesome! Way to go Fluff!!!

I used to use the regular slinky set to play stuff in drop b and drop a, cus I didn't know much about string gauges. After this video I picked up a pack, and playing in those tunings sounds SO much better! I love the thickness of the strings, it really makes my guitar feel like its meant to be dropped this low. Not to mention the wound G string is awesome, I wasn't sure how I would like it, but now i don't think I can go back. Thank you for the video, even 4 years later you're helping people out!

This is awesome!! i have been using the cobalts 7 string set. 10-62 i throw away the 10 and tune to b standard . i have loved the wound G string . the 62 is the absolute biggest i can fit through the tuning peg. so this new may be just perfect for me. i wouldn't have found these for a while if it weren't for your video.. thank you so much.

Actually pretty excited about these i fell inlove with the paradigm line for my shorter scale for my drop c and c# but now i can have reliable strings for my other two six strings for drop B! Thanks for the review!

Finally! A set of strings that doesn’t need to be adjusted to my liking!
The wound G is a true goldmine! 🤘

These have become my favorites. Ordered a set last year and tested them on an ancient Epi LPjr, fell in love. Turned out even better on my Hellraiser FR in Drop B. Never played on strings that stay in tune like these do. Even with the Floyd bottomed out they just snap back like nothing happened. Fantastic job.
