When I saw 27, I was expecting some mention of the Collatz conjecture. If you're not familiar with it, Google it.
27 is where the sequences get interesting.
And yes, I can't believe she got pi wrong.

27 is my favorite number, too. For me 2 is blue and 7 is yellow, so together they make a sunny sky. Also, , it's the day of my birth. Mix blue and yellow and get 3, i mean green. :)

I don't say it is lacking because of the number or the person who liked it, but because we've grown accustomed to a deeper exploration of the featured number and its intricacies.

I just randomly chose 36. I had some sort of intuition, but I can't figure out why. The fourth power of 36 is 1, 679, 616. The sum of 1+6+7+9+6+1+6 is 36. Also, 36^5 is 60, 466, 176. If you add 6+0+4+6+6+1+7+6, you get 36. Also, a bunch of other two digit numbers' cubes' digits summed to 36. This is fascinating! So then I conjectured 45^6 would work, and sure enough it did! 45^6 is 8, 303, 765, 625. That sums to 45. This is amazing. I think I'll post a video on this today.

One-based meaning that the first digit after the decimal point is labelled 1, instead of zero which is what she did in the video.

My favourite number is 27 because several times in elementary and middle school, when they would number all the kids in my classes I always got the number 27.  Then I randomly started getting the number, like I picked up a random book and it was numbered 27, or sit at a random computer in the lab and it was numbered 27, and it just kept popping up for me.  It's fate!
