We all make this common mistake: 'He is my cousin brother.' You can say 'He is my cousin!

'Cousin brother' and 'cousin sister' are grammatically incorrect. 'Cousin' can be used for both. If you want to specify gender, use 'male cousin, ' 'female cousin, ' or say 'He is my cousin' or 'She is my cousin.

Just a doubt.. when we don't use a pronoun the can we say cousin sister? Or is it irrelevant to specify the gender in that context?
