I’m having no luck either. It says it can’t find my device even while it shows it in the app. I can’t move files onto it and I get told it can’t communicate with a ‘helper’ app whatever that is…. The help videos don’t match the screens I’m seeing. Can’t finish establishing the account. Very dissatisfied.

I have the WD 4tb wireless external hard drive. Is there even a way to set up a password, so that someone can't hard wire it up to their laptop and get access to files?

Question. Please answer if you know the answer.  I have this app called Filmic Pro.  The app shoots videos, but my iPhone has limited storage space for when I capture videos.  Would I be able to transfer the footage I just shot with my iPhone to the My Passport Wireless through wi-fi?  Would all I need to do is make sure my iPhone and the Wireless Passport were on the same wi-fi? Can I also simply connect my phone to the wireless passport directly?

I have a My Passport device usb and I have iCloud set on my iPad Pro but when I plug the the external WD passport to it I see an activation code that I need to put in the three boxes and I think will only except numbers. now will I have to buy another external passport or am I doing something wrong need your help please.

I have been trying to set up my passport for months now, unsuccessfully. I am starting to regret why I bought it. It gives me a "no internet connection" message. I do have internet. I turned my router off and on, but still have that message. All my other devices have internet.
Sometimes it just says that my device cannot connect to my pass. I use my mac iOS and iPhone. None of them works.
Can someone help, please ?

Why can't I transfer video from my iPhone 6 to this drive... I try uploading video from my video folder and it gives me a warning stating "Drive Offline" MyPassport is not accessible. Local Documents are available." What does that mean!? I'm a videographer, so If I can't easily and efficiently transfer video to this device it is useless to me.
