My dad, who just turned 100, gave me the following advice. "Your feet will take you everywhere you go for the rest of your life. Never buy cheap shoes, or wear shoes that hurt your feet."

My Dad wore his Blunnies for fourty odd years farming in the Mallee, Victoria, Australia. You would always know when the season had broken (ie it rained) as Dad would retire last years boot that had a hole in the sole that had probably been filling his boot with dirt during the four week wheat harvest but that would mean a wet foot every day. But when I say they were retired, that meant they became his (sheep) shearing boot until the elastic gave way entirely and he was essentially wearing a leather slipper until the next years boot was ready for retirement. Very proud moment as a farmers son to be taken to rural supplies store in town to buy first pair of Blunnies in the late 1980’s.

"Tuff toe" epoxy that protects the leather on top of the steel toe.
Doubled the life on my Blundstones.

First you tell us how much you love Bundy Ginger Beer.
Then you show us how much you love your Uggs by repairing them.
Now you're you're banging on about how awesome Blunnies are.
At this point Adam, you're more Aussie than a lot of Aussies are.
Love your work mate.

Problem is, we can’t be sure that Adam hasn’t just weathered these boots to look like that... 😉

I've been wearing these for years. A young guy I work with said "Oh, everyone your age likes those...." :-/

I bought blundstones a few years ago because of a tweet you posted. I'm on my second pair and I intend to wear them forever

I’m a automotive painter and love red back boots. Also from Australia. Those Aussie’s know boots! Last pair lasted me 5+ years!

One of the few good things about this pandemic is that we now get to see so much more video content from Adam, and that's a blessing. Keep doing what you are doing my good man!!

I’ve been a Mythbusters fan since season one and I remember seeing Adam’s Blundstone boots for the first time and thinking to myself that those look like the perfect work boots. I’ve worn many different pairs of work boots from cheap Walmart brands to more expensive (mostly cowboy style work boots) and this last year when it was time I needed a new pair cause my last pair had started to fall apart with many holes, I remembered these and finally pulled the trigger. I gotta say that my Blundstones are some of the most comfortable pair of not only boots but shoes in general over the time I’ve had them and have been great for me when I’m on my feet all day. I can’t see myself wearing anything different as of now and plan to get another pair once I wear this pair to the ground. I can verify in my time everything that he’s said in this video about them is true and I absolutely love them!

Redback steel toe boots are even more comfortable than blundstones. They are still made in Australia unlike blundstone boots.

Get out of my head! Everytime recently I'm like "ok I need such and such" Adam is like here's a video of that tool!

A friend of mine recommended Blundstones to me maybe five years ago. I’ve been wearing the same pair daily ever since (except in hot weather). They are just beginning to wear out on the heels and on the inside heels. And I love the ease of putting them on as well.

A lot of Blundstone lovers have since moved to another aussie boot company Redback since Blundstone started using overseas manufacturing. I've never owned Blundstones but I wore the same pair of Redbacks every day for over 6 years until they wore out

Love blundstones. I work industrial maintenance and use the extreme series with the rubber cover over the steel toe. I’ve tried so many different brands and pairs over the years but I’m so happy to finally found the one that works best for me. I also have the regular steel toes and a pair of non steel toes that I keep nice for daily wear.

Check out Redback’s! Still made in Australia (Blundstones aren’t), similar aesthetic not quite as “clean” but close, you can also get them in steel toe, and they have much much better leather, it’s like twice as thick, it’s like a “work” version of a Blundstone.

Rose Anvil is a great channel that dissects all manner of work boots including Blundstones showing each boot and shoes construction. Well worth a watch. He also has a cool Toaster;]

For anyone looking, I'm pretty convinced that the non-steel toed boots he show first are not from the Classic or Original series, but are the Dress type boots. They have a more square shaped toebox and the sole is different both from the side view and underside. So my best bet for Adam Cosplayers would be to look for the #1306

I (45) have never once in my life thought, "My boots are too heavy..." Sorry Adam. I live in western PA. It snows a lot here. Still love your content and like every video.
