I went to Gibraltar one time and it was crazy seeing cars cross where we were about to land. It’s also crazy getting a taxi ride across the runway as well

As someone from Gibraltar, it honestly used to be such a pain, but it was fun seeing them take off and land when I was a little further away sitting on the beach. But thankfully now the roads have changed course, but it does take longer :’/

There is a tunnel that we use now and one of the reasons for this change is because the traffic would get REALLY bad, trust me I'm a local it was terrible

I've walked across it a few times and you can look down the runway, it's so cool.

They have built a multi million tunnel now (cars or vehicles don’t have to cross the runway) Gibraltar 🇬🇮 = Power

Traffic now takes the tunnel, but pedestrians can still cross. Imagine if it was like Shibuya.
