What Does 'Woke' Even Mean?

Best definition I've heard to date. I've heard several people try to define "woke" by giving an example, but that is not how you define a word. Giving an example of woke is easy. Defining it is much harder.

Woke is adhering to identity political definitions as a primary aspect in all things. Merit, narrative, or even scientific fact no longer matter. Where one political/racial identity is always the oppressor and therefore is it justified to abuse them because they are always the oppressor even when they are victimized.

No, no, no… “Woke” is consciousness/awareness. “I stay woke” means I stay in a loving, conscious presence… This is how it started and then it was turned into something completely different… Something closer to what this guy is talking about. Initially, to be woke was to be aware, to be hip to your hop, to walk consciously, to be present and not believe the propaganda.
