Following the thunderous battle between Godzilla and the Titans that leveled San Francisco, and the shocking revelation that monsters are real, “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” tracks two siblings following in their father’s footsteps to uncover their family’s connection to the secretive organization known as Monarch.

Clues lead them into the world of monsters and ultimately down the rabbit hole to Army Officer Lee Shaw (played by Kurt Russell and Wyatt Russell), taking place in the 1950s and half a century later where Monarch is threatened by what Shaw knows.

I love that John Goodman is returning as Bill Randa. I feel like Randa was a criminally under used character that was crucial to Monarch’s origin story and that he had so much more to tell before being unceremoniously eaten by a Skullcrawler!!!

This looks incredible! The CGI and visuals are exactly how it looked like in the 2014 movie, but even better. The tone also feels like the one from the 2014 movie. I am so excited to see what happened during the gaps of each movie.

I do hope Mothra makes a return soon. Her and Godzilla’s relationship in KOTM was something special to me. Hopefully she comes back to continue fighting alongside with Godzilla
