I feel like spearmaster and artificer have sufficient challenge in them to make them more balanced. But rivulet, damn is it just a cakewalk of a campaign they really should have upped the fast creatures instead of just putting fat taffee lizards and flying centipedes everywhere.

Also i feel like gourmand is kinda fun to use, it has some insane stengths to it with a big weakness in the slugcat itself.

Do you need to buy the base game to get the dlc or can you just buy the dlc and play it on ps4

I think that the lack of diffculty comes from you as the player being more expierenced in rain world itself not because its easy.

Spear master campaign is not really helps player, arti campaign balanced by absolute hostile scabs, gourmand have stamina limit, which is rly low, saint and rivulet really hard on start
Thou arti/saint/rivulet have 'endgame' things, like arti scare off all scabs and become neutral, riv disable ultra often rains, and ofc saint with literally god mode

Kind of grimy making you buy the main game then years later change for a dlc that should be free. So id say no not worth it .
