I love how every time anyone fights a difficult enemy in rain world, they just stab it an excessive number of times after it stops moving. No one is taking the risk of it getting back up and monching you.

I've never played Rain World, but fighting that thing looks terrifying. It's just so much faster than the player character and so big.
Specially when I don't have an understanding of the game's mechanics, it looked like you were about to die everytime it got near you.

that adrenaline shot and release of hatred you get when the enemy is so close to grabbing you, but doesn't because you keep stabbing the shit out of it using the very same spears in their body

that's one of the many reasons to love this game

I remember having a 4 part plan to amass several shelters of armories, a ready squad of scavengers, and all the right conditions to hunt the red centipede in garbage wastes and murder it with my bare hands and girth, only to play that one challenge and realize "oh you could've just made a few puffs"
