DP 1 was wonderful. DP 2 has been beyond fantastic. I'm already waiting with much anticipation for DP 3. This series has been thoughtfully, and skillfully written, as well as directed. The acting is superb. Please do this again.

Kim Sung kyun and Song Suk ku are so funny!! Their captain-sargeant duo was amazing in season 1 I hope to see more of their characters' development in s2 and of course more of Haein and Kyo Hwan duo!!

I remember around 2012 they showed us Jewel in the palace and Dong Yi on national television here in my country. And all the girls in the country were after Ji Jin Hee. I bet they had no idea that he was already an uncle to them. But I vividly remember a lot of teenage girls had a crush on him. 😂😂😂 And many had a photo collection of Ji Jin Hee, Lee Young Ae and Han Hyo Joo.

I'm so looking forward to season 2. The theme of the serie is very sensitive to talk about but so important. I bawled my eyes out in the first season, out of sadness but also out of frustration. Because the deserters are usually the broken ones, broken by people and abandoned by the system/the higher ups. I'm sure I'll once again be amazed by the performances of the actors. Fighting!!!!
