Winner is criminally underrated internationally. They're huge in Korea and in Asia but aren't anywhere as popular as they should be in the West. They have one of my fave discographies in kpop and you're right, their live shows are AMAZING! I've had the chance to attend a few male kpop groups concerts (BTS, NCT 127, Winner, SVT) and western male artists and Seungyoon is still the best male vocalist I've ever heard live. Like he SINGS, sometimes without any backtrack, just him and his guitar. It's been years so I don't remember him singing the song, but I still remember the chills on my head down to my toes.

Winner is one of my favorite groups that nobody on youtube really reacts to anymore 😢even tho they are incredible. Id love to see more MV reactions to them. I may be an EXO-L, but if I had it in me to be a multi stan I definitely be an inner circle. I always feel WINNER should be so much more popular than they are. I can't wait for Seungyoon and Mino to comeback from their military service. I'm hoping Seungyoon has been a busy bee even in the military and is already to give us a catchy fun comeback for next april 🙏🏼🤞🏼

Although Winner slots in between Bigbang and iKON, actually Winner and iKON debuted only around a year apart from one another. They were on a survival show against each other to see who gets to debut. It would be like if Treasure really had ended up being split into 2 groups, and 1 batch of them debuted a year later than the other. Winner really has their entirely own sound within YG but, just like all their label mates, they still have the YG energy of the joy of performing live. Yoon's vocals are amazing. I don't even think the Killing Voice fully shows it off. He won on King of Masked Singer 6 consecutive times and has also been on Immortal Songs. He also writes/produces and is the key person in what Winner's sound is like. Over half of their songs are made by him. Mino was the 2nd place on the rap competition Show Me the Money and does very well on variety too. He's been on more than one Na PD show which is why you probably felt he already looked familiar with Na PD on Game Caterers. Hoon is the main dancer and also choreographs for them. He is really funny and friendly. Jinu is the visual, vocal line, and the eldest. Also, fun fact, the man has no sense of direction lol. Most likely to get lost.

Winner are known to be summer and festival kings however, they are also known for their emotional ballads. They are a self-producing groups. 3/4 members are song writers and composers. They are usually categorized as artists more than idols. They perform live the best and they also make the best covers .. check their cover of bigbang haru haru and wonder girls nobody. They are very well known in SK but underrated globally. Il blame yg for this as they sabotage their highly sucessful debut and put them on hiatus right after for over a yr and lose some fans in the process.

HOONY aka Seunghoon is the lead rapper, main dancer and choreographer of thr group. He also compose some of their song. Recently he debuted solo with mini album with title track called MY TYPE. He is the wittiest of the group but also an introvert.

JINU aka Jinwoo is the eldest, visual of the group and also the lead vocalist. He is an actor too. He has a solo song called Call Anytime ft MIno, you guys can check out the MV.

YOON aka Seungyoon is the maknae and also leader of the group. Main composer and as well as the main vocalist. He is has his own solo album and with 6th time in the KING OF MASKED SINGER competition.

MINO aka Song Minho is the face of the group, main rapper and also 1/3 of the composer. He is one of NA Pd fav child, he is in the New Journey to The West variety shiw along with SUJU Kyuhyun. He as 3 full album of solo stuff and was active back then in the underground rapper. Watch his Killing Verse.

I don't know what to say anymore because they already said it here in the comment section hahaha.

What I'll just say is that WINNER is my ultimate k-pop group, who I wish to be more recognized internationally.
They are dubbed as one of the "TRUST AND LISTEN" groups in Korea. Not only us fans, but also the Korean general public anticipate their song release.
They are multi-talented individuals brought together to form a well-balanced and charismatic group.
Each of them has their own sound/voice quality but when put together 🥹👌

WINNER has a different sound compared to other YG groups but you cannot deny the fact that they have that YG DNA running through their blood.
I like to describe their aura as "CLASSY-SWAG", given that they debuted with a concept of model-dols for having that model-like physique and visuals.
Oh yeah, Jinu is not short. It's just that the other three members are giant hahaha.

ooo omg yes, more winner. they're so amazing although so overlooked, would love for u guys to check out their mv/songs 'hold' 'soso' 'island' 'love me love me' and 'i love you' in particular, all are great but those are some of my personal favourites.

fun fact they actually debut as 5 in 2014 and year after one member depart due to health issue and they were in very long hiatus (more than a year) which make them lose a lot of fans during that hard time. REALLY REALLY from FATE NO FOR album is the saviour that brought them back and rebrand as 4 member group until now. The song with (4 ver) is the song from the debut album.
