I like how Ezra makes his lightsaber in an untraditional order. Usually, padawans make their first lightsaber look like their master's, but Ezra is different. His first lightsaber was incredibly different from any other lightsaber, but his newest one honours his master.

Noticed that Ezra’s lightsabers always have the newer more mechanical ignitions while kanans have the Alec Guinness style old school ignition, showing how Ezra is a new gen Jedi while Kanan is from the older era of the order. Food for thought.

It takes me back to when Ahsoka taught Ezra not to rely solely on the lightsaber for combat and survival. You have to rely on yourself. She taught him this by throwing his lightsaber away and started him with her own, Ezra then learned to rely on himself and the force
