I know Stormtroopers have infamously bad aim, but there is literally no excuse for them not hitting Ezra when he's defenseless and being held still in the air.

For those of you wondering the reasons why the royal guards don't have capes is capes in clone wars and rebels are expensive to animate so they seldom use it in concern of the budget.

I love their look. I love that the force pikes can basically artificially use the force. But the stormtroopers missing an unarmed prisoner helplessly suspended in the air five feet in front of them? That's a new low even for them...

As much fun as seeing Storm Troopers be made fools of is I actually really love Ezra's line to Palpatine. The man has been manipulating people for years and always getting his way but this is one of the few times he fails. Ezra made his parents and Kanan proud by rejecting Palpatine's offer and making it clear even though Palpatine can kill Ezra the sith lord will never have power over him.
