I don't think some of the people who've seen this recognize just how incredible this performance was. Not only did she break the world record for women's freeskate at the age of 16, she also attempted four quads, and landed three of them. She is incredible. People used to think that women couldn't even land quads, and now people like Alexandra are starting to land them perfectly in competitions. I can't wait to see where women's skating goes. I've always been a fan of Yuzuru Hanyu because his jumps, spins, and skating style are absolutely beautiful and on a whole different level, but we should never forget to give credit where credit is due, and Alexandra certainly deserves the score she got 1000%.
