Breath of the Wild on Jimmy Fallon - SWITCH Gameplay Mini Analysis

Last night on the Jimmy Fallon show, Nintendo showed up big with the Switch and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild! I run a mini analysis on what we saw, and look at if there are any noticeable differences on the Switch version.

Jimmy Fallon got to be the first to play Breath of the Wild on the upcoming Nintendo Switch! This means we got a live gameplay demonstration of the Switch version. Is it any different? I analyse.

Shadows don't appear to be jumping and appear crisper and anti-aliasing appears to be better. Framerate def looks better.

You see how smooth the console to handheld transition was, that impressed me a lot. Especially since it's actual footage of the Switch switching

I think Link had a different shield. It looks similar to the Traveler's Shield, but instead of brown with a bronze colored middle, it was blue with a diamond pattern and a silver colored middle. Probably an upgraded shield using the same model with a different texture, but still looking like a more powerful shield.

I think Nintendo is aware of the framerate drops on the WiiU, and im sure they have heard or seen of the many analysis here on youtube. Therefore I think they intentionally showed the explosion gameplay because they know these analysis were coming. I am excited! When they announced a presentation coming in January, many of us felt like that would be too far off, but time passed by so fast we are so close to Jan 12!

The soldiers broadsword has a base damage of 14, and bokoblins have 13 HP.

I wonder if it like the more Link use a sword the stronger it gets or the more you use two handen or bow you gain more skill.

the thing where you select your equiped items changed too! in the Wii U version is like the control pad (under the hearts)

okay first off, the sword he was using was the soldier's broadsword which has like 12 dmg and bokoblings have 12 hp, second, the temperature meter is a bar and not a circle and I'm not sure yet but it seems links hair have a physics engine this time but he might have had that in the wii u version aswell.
