5020 Dyno Run and Project Announcement

Travelled back in time to the dyno run of my 5020, which was done on the same day as the 4230 Turbo Build's dyno run. Seeing that snow really made me wish for some cool weather after what we have been dealing with this past week! After 6 months of finishing school and getting crops in the ground, we managed to clear a spot in the shop to start the build. I am looking forward to bringing this 5020 back to life, and taking you guys along with me. Thanks for watching, and I'll see ya on the next one!

I took inspiration from you guys and restored a John Deere myself. It's a model JS60. That would be a 21" push mower in case y'all were wondering. I did upgrade the engine to a 7hp while I was at it. She don't bog down in tall grass anymore.

I had a header built for my 5020 and I put a Borg Warner s362sxe turbo on. A lot better set up than the m&w. Never gets hot

When I get a hard pull on a wrench like that, I some times us a 1/4 ton come along to pull on the wrench. A small strap works well also to pull on a wrench that is hard to reach. Looking forward to the build.

It's called debonding it's the outer coating of bearing coming off to expose the babbet

By overhaul do you mean just doing top end bc you we’re saying the bearings looked good?
What fluid was seeping out behind the manifold and why?
