Power of Tasmanian Rivers - Nigel Tomlin's Homemade Hydro

Nigel Tomlin is a former fitter and turner and former employee of HYdro Tasmania who decided who wanted to make his own renewable energy in Tasmania. He is currently finishing his third hydro installation, and will mean that he generates electricity for over 1000 houses. What's remarkable is that he's done all this with very little assistance and without an engineering degree...he was just lucky to have a stream in his backyard.
