I prefer a vegan diet, but I'll also add that there's a difference between 'vegetarian' and no dairy products with eggs / not meat; dairy itself is a potential health risk for many. And 'being vegan' doesn't necessarily mean 'healthy'. One can be on a potato chip and root beer diet, totally vegan, but I wouldn't recommend it for health.
