Dr. Carlos:
Cancer is the second leading cause of death globally. While part of this statistic may be attributed to increased cancer diagnoses, in this video, we will delve into stomach cancer, examining how certain aspects of our lives can contribute to its incidence.

To understand stomach cancer, we first need to comprehend the complexity of the stomach itself. The stomach is a vital organ with different regions serving specific functions. It releases substances to aid digestion before passing the processed food to the small intestine.

Stomach cancer can manifest in subtle symptoms that are often overlooked or mistaken for less severe conditions like gastritis or acid reflux. Common indications include abdominal pain, which may be associated with eating, as well as bloating and excessive gas. These symptoms are not exclusive to the colon but can also indicate stomach issues.

Surprisingly, seemingly innocuous symptoms like frequent burping or feeling excessively full even after a small meal can be early signs of stomach cancer. It's crucial not to dismiss them as they might be indicative of underlying issues.

The link between gastritis and cancer lies in chronic irritation. Gastritis and chronic reflux can lead to changes in cell types in the esophagus due to constant irritation, potentially increasing the risk of developing cancer.

One of the primary symptoms of stomach cancer is difficulty swallowing, as the changed cells in the esophagus can create a condition called Barrett's esophagus, making swallowing uncomfortable or painful.

Unexplained vomiting, persistent nausea, unintentional weight loss, or the presence of blood in vomit or stool should not be ignored. If you experience any of these symptoms, it's essential to seek medical attention promptly.

Additionally, stomach cancer is notorious for its propensity to metastasize to other organs, including the colon, brain, or lungs. Detecting it early through an endoscopy can significantly improve treatment outcomes.

Listen to this Doctor, more people need to hear this. I went to get a colonoscopy done but told Doctor I had some pain in my abdomen so she said to have a endoscopy as well. Turned out I had stage two esophageal cancer. I went thru chemo and radiation. Two Months later I had surgery to remove my esophagus and pulled my stomach up to attach where my esophagus was removed. It was one of the hardest thing I ever experienced. 16 days in the hospital and two months off from work. I lost over 20 some pounds. I’m have hard time shallowing now & having it stretched twice now. I had gerd years ago and didn’t do anything about it. You don’t want to do that. I’m telling my story so you do not have to go thru like I did. Through the grace of Jesus Christ telling me to have the upper GI because I had no symptoms.

My Dad has esophageal cancer stage 4. He was a heavy smoker. He started to notice that he couldn't swallow food. And felt like it was getting stuck. He got a upper gi done that confirmed he had cancer. That type of cancer has a very small survival rate. He lived 1 year and a month after being diagnosed . Love ya Dad 😇

I think it’s safe to say now that a lot of people are dying from stomach cancer “ could be from the food that they’re been poisoning for years now!! And we’re just now finding out now” all the crap that they’re putting in our food is very bad for us💯%

2 years ago, I had suffered severe gastric pains, and over-the-counter meds unable to bring any relief. Did performed an endoscopy and found several polyps and an ulcer. Thankfully from the biopsy, the polyps are non-cancerous (all of them removed). I am grateful to have that gastric pain or otherwise, I may overlook the possibility of having growths in the gut that can be potentially cancerous.

In Australia when you turn 50yrs we are sent a bowel screening test to check for blood in your stool. Last year it came back positive, so a colonoscopy was scheduled, but after talking to the specialist I mentioned I had been having gut issues for years, he listened to me and I also had a gastrocrophy as well. Multiple gastric polyps were discovered. The source of the bleeding was not yet found. A follow up is to be done in a couple of months to check if they have become cancerous. I just think of the doctors I saw in the past who dismissed my concerns about indigestion, reflux, adominal pain, irritable bowel. The changes that I can no longer eat anything made with wheat or any grained food, not a gluten issue, was not listened to. My own research in trying to ease my own gut issues by changing diet (paleo) is still ongoing. Keep trying to find a doctor who listens is so important dont be afraid to stand up for your own health..Thanks for the information given here, praying there are no adverse changes.

I had colonoscopy at age 47 for the first time. It was recommended for my physical examination, I was thankful that I have no trace of anything to worry about my results was clear and was advised to come back after 10 years. I believe that eating vegetables and fruits and fish really help. drinking enough water and sleep on time is the key.

I’ve had all these symptoms for quite a few years, had to go to ER a few times and was told the gastritis, to see my pcp and gastroenterology specialist. My pcp saw that my previous Ct for my kidney stones, also shows a “fatty pancreas”, which it’s also not functioning well, since she saw low digestive enzymes. GI did endoscopy & colonoscopy, had polyps, and several removed. Continue to get regular colonoscopies every 2 years. I continue to have abdominal pain, bloated when I barely eat, feel nauseous off and on, lots of gas. My grandma died of stomach & colon cancer. GI started me on Creon bout 4-5 years ago and take each time I eat. My GI tells me there’s not much else he can do. This makes me want to get more options after seeing this video!! My sister has similar issues but worse than me, I’m so worried for her!

Thank you so much for this information. I’m been having problems with my stomach for the past five years and it’s taken the doctors I go to seems like for forever to find the problem. All I do now is pray that if and when they find my problem that it’s not stomach cancer. Also each time I make appointments to see specialist they always give me appointments 3 months out. I’m so scared right now. So this one of the reason I just pray to god . All and all that you so much for the information ❤

Thank you for your help.
I have gotten an endoscopy a couple years back & they found polyps but said they weren't cancerous.
I've been telling medical professionals going back years now that I get bloated after eating small amounts and and loud noises in my stomach and periodically sharp pains from abdominal area that radiate up to my heart making feel like close to a heart attack, & it got nowhere, so I tremendously appreciate your protective guidance. I've given up in seeking help but appreciate your video and professional knowledge/ help tremendously.
