Saw these guys in Boise, Idaho, of all places in 2022... I'm a local who had no previous experience with these guys and they just showed up at a free music festival (TreeFort!) and hauled ass for hour after hour after hour... after hour. It was damned cold and by the end there weren't any audience lights so it was very dark, but they continued to just POUR energy out from the stage, dancing up and down etc. They were so good everyone left the nearby paid venues (very expensive ones, too) to see these guys, playing free and outside... couldn't believe they'd just show up at such a random place and play such good music (not used to getting cool music like this in Boise freaking Idaho)... at the start almost no one there, but by the end the crowd was pouring in from other booths and paid venues and even just off the street... lord hope I see them next year, so good...

Music such as this here is why I love KEXP. I don't know how it's possible that they were playing for more than a decade without me knowing - I love Takeshi Terauchi, love good surf, Acid Mother's Temple, brazilian psychedelia, YĪN YĪN, and I love absolutely everything about this. Everyone is a top notch musician, not one note out of place and they're dancing and having crazy fun. And it's all recorded perfectly, you can slap it on vinyl and call it a studio EP. I will be coming here for years.

I just saw this band open for Unwound. The guitarist told his story of seeing unwound in 1996 with blonde redhead. And then fast forward to 2023 and they opened for them. Incredible stuff
