Fearless Nation PTSD Support is an RL 501c3 Nonprofit Organization for people with PTSD, their families, partners, children, and communities. They provide education, support, and advocacy. Since 2009 they've had a virtual online community that spans distance, with a small carbon footprint bringing people together for peer support, education, and advocacy for people with PTSD.

Not only is this a brilliantly made documentary, it explains how people like Anya are using Second Life to improve the lives of others. It also reminds us that Second Life is not a game or a marketing platform, but a community.

This is amazing! I sent it to my mother who doesn’t understand second life and this is a very unique thing you can do with it . She works with veterans directly with ptsd and has it herself and I think could get a big take from this and understanding my community more!😢❤

Second Life (and avatars in general) have SO much potential for therapeutic benefit. We've seen it time and time and again since the start of SL. Great work these people are doing - as a therapist in RL and an advocate for the therapeutic benefit of avatar work, I see all of this work is so valuable. Bravo!

Wow! This is so beautiful.. ! Thank you Drax… I am a USMC Veteran of the Persian Gulf War, I have Diagnosed PTSD and I have used secondlife for 15 years to work through alot of my problems. I even quit drinking. It is amazing to me how far I have matured in dealing with certain things inadvertently in secondlife. I am still a weirdo but I have friends in secondlife to validate it. Lol crying my eyes out. Great video!
