If your task is to add air to a slightly deflated ball, be aware that when you remove the plug it will fly out like a rocket. So be sure remove the plug in an environment where its flying will be contained, and where you will be able to find where the plug landed.

You might want to tell us how you got it started from complete deflation, right out of the box. I found that I actually had to use a cocktail straw to get started with the inflation. I inserted the straw into the ball and blew manually so that I could get enough air in it in order to use the pump. Otherwise everything‘s going fine thank you.

I can't seem to get the ball all the way full and there is an air leak from the hose at the pump.

You should do an initial pump first and allow it to stretch for a day.

Using a bicycle pump is a whole lot easier on the arms and quicker than those blasted hand pumps. Less than 5 minutes. But you need an adapter that usually comes with the bicycle pump or may be also included with the gym ball. Plus those hand pumps are so flimsy (they cost about 12 cents to make in Asia) they break after a few uses.

I stored my yoga ball in a wooden shed for months and I wanted to use it again, but every time I pump it, deflates whilst being pumped! What happens if you store your yoga ball against Wood?

ludicrous, cannot get the blue tube into the insertion plug. How the hell do you insert the blue hose into the spigot when it is much larger that the spigot opening. This is so totally crazy!

I wouldn't sit on it after just the first pump, it has to sit 24 hours, then pump again.
