I'm thinking of getting this to learn how to ride/get the feeling for a manual so I can upgrade more comfortably in the future. Would you recommend this or something smaller?

I went to the local Ford dealer and asked for a non China OEM part...guess what...ALL Ford Motor Company parts are made in China. I got a Lifan 200cc and a Storm 250cc coming....can't wait to ride them. Chinese, Thai, Mexican or even good ole USA....nothing is guaranteed to be 100% safe. bet my life on a Chinese bike....the safety equipment in my Toyota is made in...yep you guessed it China. I guess for those not old enough to remember when Japanese cars and motorcycles were junk....ow not so much. Chinese goods are now the new Japanese cars and motorcycles.
