Massive fast twitch improvements all over my body from implementing his advice . I feel lightning quick ; even grabbing or pulling something while working.

This guy is like a real life Batman villain.
Have learned so much from these videos.

Thank you. As a 65 yr old who retired from active duty 20 yrs ago and have plenty of joint issues (though still in great shape), this shorter ROM I've been trying is the ticket for me.

The way you deliver the information and explain it so eloquently is amazing. It reminds me of one of my favorite teachers I had in high school. Can’t wait to see what more you have in store for us!

100% correct. people always laughed at me doing push-ups, 'til I took off my shirt

I’m 65 and recently put down the weights for body weight exercising using short range of motion. Hip and back pain gone. Just ran across your channel. Putting these techniques into practice. Good information well presented. Subscribed!

You're one of the most real people I've ever been friends with, over 20 years now. Unstoppable. Keep on kickin ass homie.

This is a great video and I also like the comments. No matter what method I've ever tried, nothing makes me respond better than these reps. I've always seemed to go back to them. The only thing that held me back honestly was feeling guilty that I didn't do a full rep. I will do all of my push-ups this way from now on. I'll be 63 this month.

Fascinating. I've recently become aware of the power of partial reps, but this explanation adds a lot!

Never heard it explained like that before. Makes total sense. Will definitely change up my routine now. Thanks dude!

I'm a full rom guy, but recently started adding some heavy partials to my delts routine a few weeks ago... just came across your videos and gonna incorporate partials even more. Good, but simple logic here

Dude looks like either your best friend or WORST enemy in prison

I was a CO and I can vouch for prison workouts. I've been working out in gyms my whole life, and used to obsess over 'macros, ' etc., until I saw those guys working out on the yard and in their cells. The inmates were so friggin strong, utilizing bodyweight exercises almost exclusively, and they were jacked. The craziest part is it's really hard for them to get enough protein, but it doesn't seem to matter.
Jesse, you're doing a great job on the outside. Keep it up. Mad respect!

I can’t believe my luck coming across this at the time I have. I have adopted daily calisthenics for months now, and yet although I have indeed made progress, I’m dissatisfied with a lack of greater progress and growth. I’ve been a proponent of focusing on full range of motion, but damn, my elbows hurt some days. Coming across your video (and other content) is serendipitous, and I’m now going to trial shorter range of motion, and see for myself if things improve faster.

Half rep and full rep both have pros and cons, I spent 15 years in the military 10 of those in ops, we also did 5 second push-ups and pull-ups, meaning 5 seconds in the eccentric and 5 seconds on the concentric movement, the true key is to do a variety and a lot of the variety

You made a good point. Just because a certain movement has a certain A and B ending points does not mean that it corresponds to the target muscle function and often times there is a switch between different muscle groups, which in turn means that you will probably get tired before properly loading either.
