For those of us that live in the stone age, we sometimes like to have physical copies of things. (Unthinkable!)

For example, I can't even scroll on most recipe sites on my phone due to the placement of ads and there being so many ads that it literally causes the page to freeze or even crash.

Like most people, I'm visually-mentally impaired in a way that when there's a clutter of information it's difficult for me to quickly identify the important information.

For this reason I share with you: How to Remove Ads before Printing a Webpage!

Even if not the smoothest way done the first times, this method does have additional positive side effects. It removes some of the respect for, as your call it, scary boxes and hopefully the shimmer of complexity that computer code still seem for most of us. Manipulating blocks this way can open the door for more understanding and as such the 'dangerous magic' is pushed back further until we again dare to go closer for more knowledge.

Great tip, AJ! My wife and my palate both thank you!

Sorry, but this method seems way too tedious. There are much easier ways, such as just highlighting your selected text on the page, then R-click and click "Print" on the dropdown list.

Or highlighting around each ad and minimizing it, and then printing the remainder.
