If you try to get into the last vault before unlocking the final level and beating the final boss, Bentley will say it's written in "owl dialect" meaning you need to beat the final boss Clockwerk along with the whole game in order to open the last vault.

I wish that the final level, The Krackarov Volcano in Russia, could have had levels where you could hunt for clue bottles and find more pages of the Thievius Raccoonus. I wanted to explore Clockwerk's Lair as Sly Cooper, not through some mini games.
