Regarding your discussion about saving your ult in the early game, you have to consider how different the enemy is playing simply because you have not ulted yet and you are level 6, the threat of Shen ult is making the enemy play around it, similar to the way Blitzcrank Q works in lane

watching Petu and thinking Shen is broken while in reality his decision making is top tier. idk how many times he was mid fight and stopped at the right moment to save Jhin, the way he uses abilities in lane and runes/item awareness is mindblowing.

You probably already tested this but frozen heart, because of the way it works, will proc unending despair despite not being in active combat. Meaning in short trades, so long as you are within frozen heart range, you will heal and poke.

The build even gets an indirect buff in patch 14.3 because Sundered Sky loses 10 AD (55->45) but gains 150 HP (300->450). Not only do you indirectly heal yourself more because the passive from Sundered Sky heals with missing health and you will have more max HP in the future, but you don't benefit much from the AD anyway. In addition, the passive, E, R, Unending Despair and Titanic are scaling with Max HP, which also benefits from the Sundered Sky change. Very hyped for Shen in patch 14.3 with this build :)

What a game! I wish I could play Shen half as well as you do. There is so much patience, gamesense and understanding of the champion being displayed here. I would say you are Shen irl, but unlike him you are not afraid to break out the forbidden technology.

btw this doesnt work anymore. Unending is no longer affected by item haste and ingenious does not proc it faster.

The items are fine. The issue is ONLY the damage of your champion. Being tanky is cool and fine. Also GW and mr reduce the healing of the armor item. And The % missing hp healing works best when low. TONS of champs have executes. Pyke alone, urgot, etc tons of champs will just remove this from the game. Its funny, its nice, it makes tanks feel good if enemies don't build against it. Wouldn't be so strong if riot changed bork to % MISSING hp instead of % current. Because rn the issue is bork is the "anti" tank item for melee champs and its blatanly overpowered. But its countered by armor and % hp healing, and shielding.
Its cool. You took a rune, built items, and then tanked. Darius is an idiot. He can do the same but gain 500 ad and use you as a weapon vs your team.

hello Petu, I have tried this build but must admit I fail to see the strength vs. the cost. You are markedly squishier than a normal build, but more importantly you are forfeiting minutes of the game with no ultimate. I cannot justify an extra 3.3 second cooldown on titanic at the cost of 40 seconds without my ultimate. Also, in order to make the most use of this build, you must be fighting constantly, meaning a side lane split push becomes an opportunity deficit, so you must reroute your whole game to accommodate this build. I find it interesting, but relatively weak in comparison.
