"If I'm going to have a past, I prefer it to be multiple choice!" - Joker

i heard Nicholson was offered $10million but he instead took a pay cut for a percentage of merchandising making him a smart businessman.

One of my favourite reinventions of the Joker is in the Batman Telltale games where hes not the manical psychopath we know and actually starts out as Bruce's friend and we see him gradually evolve to become the twisted Joker we know but deep down we have the choice of trying to prevent this downfall as they genuinely make you care about him and sympathise with how he's treated which is a really cool twist on the Joker in my opinion

Conroy and Hamil are the ultimate combo. Man I loved the animated series.

I hate to be that guy, but every comic character has to and has been reinvented...

It breaks me that the version in Gotham is criminally skipped every time a Joker video comes out. We're wasting time talking about Leto's version when there's another that is up there with Ledger and Pheonix.

I think Gotham's joker deserves a mention. His entrance omfg.

It’s because the people behind the movies are too scared to use any other Batman villain and so they keep showing us the joker but basically make him a different character every time. I wish they would use other Batman villains in movies like Hugo strange, the mad hatter, black mask, poison Ivy etc.

I won't write off The Batman (2022)'s Joker until i actually see it .

He's a well written, multifaceted character. Most iconic comic book characters are, especially Batman and his rouge gallery

You forgot Cameron Monaghan's version in Gotham. If I was going to rate the tope three jokers- Heath, Joaquin and Mark Hamill

For me, the best "interpretation" is Jerome and Jeremiah from Gotham (i know, i know, they're "proto jokers" but still). Cameron embodies the Joker from Mark Hamill in the live action and it's just perfect. Equally chaotic, funny, horrific and a mastermind

I guess I’ll be that guy; Arkham Origins did a great Joker. The only fault was that being a prequel, the big reveal was more of a modest surprise, but had that story been first, the plot twist would have been awesome. Troy Baker did an excellent job!

Why no mention of Cameron Monaghan’s version of The Joker in Gotham?

The fact that the joker sequel is a music is just a hilarious reminder that DC will always get in its own way.

Poor Jared Leto, getting snubbed even in the thumbnail 😭

I mean, if you want to talk modern-day Joker, his reinvention as a child-friendly villain in Batwheels is pretty fun to watch!

Heath and Joaquin are the best Jokers for me. Thank you for your analysis of the most iconic supervillain of all time. 👍🏻

"scars. Lots of scars" yeah... You'd think that someone literally dunked in acid would have a lot of scarring... That's the point..

Man, that mustache has been noticeable with the advent of HDTV, but with each increase in TV resolution it's now just obvious. 😂
