I have always loved the antique kiddie rides and Bill Tracy buildings. The Whip being my most favorite.

i’m so upset they got rid of the zipper and the freak out. my two favorite rides. but i also LOVE the tidal wave and funny enough, i’ve been living here my whole life but this past year was the first time i’ve ever been on the tidal wave (my boyfriend forced me to go on haha) and needless to say i loved it! so now it’s my new fave ride! i would go on it six to eight times in a row at a time haha!!
also love the endeavor and the new round-up!
sad the management changed over just this year, and the new management completely changed the layout of the place. I MISS THE OLD LAYOUT!!!! (coming from someone who’s lived in oc for 19 years)

I want the Jolly Roger Amusement Parks in Ocean City MD to be more like Trimper’s Rides with lots of different rides and attractions for families and thrill-seekers of all ages!

What was the ride called at the entrance to the left near the lemon. It woulda been there like, 35 years ago? It was for lil kids, would take you up through a tube then spiral you down around the tube. My fav. Besides the carousel & THE WHIP. That pirate cove used to scare the bejesus outta me when my cousin & brother would what's run ahead leavin' me to walk through alone. Lol. Jerks. Going to oc md for 2 weeks every year with my family, definitely was a highlight of my childhood. Boomerang was my first adult roller coaster when I was nine. I was actually to small, when we went upside down I was terrified I was gonna fall out!

Of little note: When Trimpers And Vekoma put in the Boomerang, it was discovered that it hung a few feet over the City’s Side Walks. The City would not issue a permit until Vekoma shortened the rides tower. Bret~ Co-founder, Darkride And Funhouse Historical Society

Ocean city is 10 miles long, the boardwalk is 2.5 miles 😊
