I actually just posted my own deck tech around Bruenor Battlehammer, and Astor goes off in that deck. Always a treat seeing him come up, since I know it means something good like Colossus Hammer is usually just around the corner. Can honestly see putting him at the helm of a very similar build.

I'm newer to MTG. I saw Cloudsteel Kirin before and wanted to add him to my Astor deck but was turned off by the reconfigure cost. You're saying that because it's equipment, I can still attach it to a creature for 1 mana? I would only need to pay the 5 mana if I wanted it to become unattached from a creature? That sounds like a steal 👀👀
