When creating a Linkedin profile, make sure to use your real name and add a professional profile picture. This is typically a different picture than you use on other social media platforms.

You can add your job history on Linkedin to make a complete resume, add your education, and any other skills that are relevant and you want other people to see.

On Linkedin, you can connect with people to build your network, follow other organizations, and join groups. On the home page, anyone that you are connected to or follow will show up with their recent posts.

Posts on Linkedin can be text, photo, video, articles, and more. You can interact with any post or create your own post right on the mobile app.

You can also chat with anyone one on one, but you have to be connected to them first. Connections are two ways, meaning when you request to connect with someone, they have to approve it.

Anytime, you can go back to the profile page and edit your profile to make it as complete as possible.
