Its unreal that this was improv dude. That could have easily been an album worthy one-shot take. I appreciate the honesty in the take. The guitar world needs way, way more of this honesty. I didn't even notice a single issue with it either. I do appreciate the pursuit of perfection though! I feel the same about my playing but I've made a conscious effort to be more vulnerable in this way.

The fact that this is improv is terrifying.

The tone is a "safe tone" ~ very easy to control/mute/etc. What's missing here is GAIN and THAT mandates a level of control that makes all these licks far more difficult to execute, but would actually SOUND far better/more normal for the level of virtuosity being displayed here.
