This is the most informative vid I have watched on youtube in relation to hardware set ups. AD DA, importance of preamps and recording in one daw and then using another like pro tools ( using outboard gear im guessing ) to mix and solidify . Nice !

@ElectronicBeatsTV @6:11 Why is he talking about preamps in the context of synths? As i know all the synths have line outputs. Was he talking about pluging a line level synth into a preamp? Or he started to talk about mics and the mics part of the video was edited out. Am I missing something in the regard of preamps use?

absolutely true you see a lot of these studios that are so over the top with easily 1000's of dollars worth of gear that maybe was used once or barley ever well said
