Kristy, I can’t tell you how much you have helped me get involved with art. I started out so green, but with your help and lots of practice, I was able to excel my drawing and confidence in a short while. I started with the basics of graphite and charcoal and now have moved to watercolors. I tried color pencils, but found difficulties with finding the right type of media for them. Watercolor is where I want to be first because the ultimate goal is to get to oils. Thank you so much for all these videos, you not only make it fun to learn, but your positive and confidence building attitude is always wonderful to hear. Keep making the world a better place.

Complementary colours are great to use together in the same area in my opinion! You can create really deep neutral greys and browns which are perfect substitutes for harsh black when doing shadows etc...
