Very nice job. I would mention that DJI operators can/should set the days to auto-discharge within the app. The default is 10 days (way too long). I've set mine to 3 days. You must set this option for each individual battery -- it it not a global setting. This allows fully charged batteries to slowly discharge on their own in the event that you don't get to fly them in a timely manner. It's a critical step to ensuring the longevity of your batteries.

Great advise. I do actually fully discharge below 8% every 20 cycles and I always check my battery cells for deviations on the healthy drones website. Also I keep a battery log. One thing which is also very important for people in cold countries: Don't fly with batteries under 20 degrees Celcius (warm them in your car or under your clothes) and fly it gently until the temperature is up to 30 degrees Celcius.

Last time I flew with mine I discharged them to 30% and placed them in a lipo bag (seperately) with the date and % charge, and it was all in my carry on baggage, as per FAA regulations, They absolutely don't want them in checked baggage as you could start a fire and kill everybody. I would suggest checking FAA regs. before you fly, I mean really who wants to kill themselves and everybody else, good video

I will recommended to charge below 30% when traveling by air. Some say 20%. Having batteries charge over 60% are way to dangerous. You say 90% not sure if that a good idea. Mahalo

Gotta admit but it never dawned on me about going full speed then coming to an abrupt stop would hurt the cells on the Lipo, makes sense.. thanks for the tips !
