How to apply K18 to your hair for the best results 💆‍♀️

I tried k18 for the first time WITHOUT conditioner (I was prepping for a color appointment) and was shocked at how great my hair still felt! I also did a hard water treatment before, which definitely helped, but it was still shocking how great my hair felt!

I think you're confusing the conditioner you normally apply right after washing (in the shower) to the leave in conditioner (which you would apply after towel dried)! Package said no conditioner is needed, but the questions you posted clearly said detangling products or LEAVE IN conditioners be used. So I'd still follow the company guideline, leave out the conditioner, use K18 then wait 4 mins THEN use other products such as a leave in conditioner. That's my logic but hey you do you.

what? it clearly says you can use detangling or leave in conditioner, not rinse out conditioner. k18 alone makes my hair feel great and tangle free and I follow with leave in so what is the issue lol

I’ve seen some people have great results using a good leave in conditioner instead of rinse out conditioner. That way u don’t have to get back in the shower

For the first time I tried the dove shampoo. I used argan oil and repair and the 10 in 1 mask. I was shocked at the shine. The hair was not weighed down. Contrary to that, it has body and actual lift. If this keeps up, Dove is my new normal. I didn't even attempt to style my hair . I just put it in a Light twist and clipped it and the next morning it was wonderful. Thanks for all your hard work and teaching about the various products.

Do you rinse the k18 mask off after 4 minutes before applying conditioner? Then rinse the conditioner?

Thank you so much for this! I bought the K 18 based on your recommendation. I followed the instructions and did not put conditioner and my hair is not quite right. I was doubting K 18. Next time I won’t skip the conditioner. I did a mask before the K 18. I hope thats ok. Just so much to learn. I thank you. I have bleached hair and I’m fighting for a long length.

I have found it works WAY more effectively without conditioner & with no or as little other products as possible. If I condition or use any other products, I don't really see the results.

Just curious though - it says to wait the 4 mins - so I'm assuming you still need to towel dry after shampooing then apply the K18, wait 4 mins and THEN get back in the shower & condition your hair? That doesn't seem to make sense to me 🤔 are you talking about leave in conditioners AFTER the K18? Or conditioning after shampooing & then applying the K18? From your correspondence it seems to indicate only leave in conditioner can be used 4 mins after applying K18 but no conditioner immediately after shampooing. Could you be more specific about this please because it could be very confusing for a lot of people & could waste their money a lot as K18 is very pricey & if being used incorrectly it is ineffective

How do you apply k18 in the shower if your hair gets super knotted? I always have to brush first then apply, but brushing without a conditioner is roughhhh

Honestly please everyone just follow the instructions. The screen shot shows questioning specifically about leave in products and detangling, nothing about wash out standard conditioner. It states hair styling, not hair rinsing. Leave the product in, follow instructions. It’s a leave in progressive product. The words don’t match what’s written.
