Just wanted to point out what a great product. And in your learning literature online regarding PH. It states that anything below 7 is classed as basic but the opposite is true. Below 7 is acidic and above 7 which is alkaline is known as basic. Incase anyone wants to edit the literature

I own k18 and i have thick volume of hair and i bleached my whole head and dyed it medium dark red and half of my head is peekaboo layer hair from last year but it has grown out a bit and its really dry like hay and easily break off if i pull the hair when it’s wet. My hair is layered cut and is around chest length.

I would say that i would need around a flat tablespoon amount for my whole head considering especially the peekaboo part of my hair are really fried since i bleached it myself back then and i over processed it. I would say probable a levelled tablespoon could even still be too much. Just work it in the hair and keep slowly combing it through your hair and you will actually use less than you think. I wish i can show proof of the results. But i do think hair dryer or drying technique also affects your hair.

Cheap hair dryer = very hot uneven heat air and frizzier dryer hair

I’m using dyson airwrap rn and the hair dryer is really worth it. I can actually do good just without k18 cuz dyson really helps to not make my hair more damaged, but since my mom already got it for me so i just used it. Buying Olaplex no 3 too and will be seeing how the effect will be in the long run. (Olaplex work to fix hair bonds and k18 work to fix outer layer oh hair using the peptides) so it’s actually quite different imo.😮

hey K18! i have been doing further research and some people have recommended USING conditioner after the usage…(rinse it out after the 4 minutes and then apply conditioner normally) what do you guys recommend? Also, what shampoos and conditioners are best to use with the product?

My hair stylist showed me that you’re supposed to rub it into your hands until it turns into a thick white paste. Why isn’t anyone speaking about this. The product emulsifies, almost grows in volume then you can see exactly where you placed it. Nowhere. No one is giving these directions. Why? This makes no sense at all because you would never need two pumps even on my very long hair, all I need is one.

This product is tricky. It needs to be done a certain way or it won’t be as effective and soft. it was weird it worked when i did condition and used it as a leave in conditioner. also feel it was easier to penetrate if hair was untangled🤔

So if we’re new to K18, the mask should be used every single time hair is washed, for the first 4-6 washes? Correct? & how often do you recommend the maintenance use?
Also can we comb the hair while applying the product to spread it even?

I was so excited to get this because of all those videos but honestly it makes my hair feel terrible so of course I stopped using it. What's the point of having a hard, dirty or gross feeling hair and hope it's gonna help it? Doesn't really seem right.

Do you think I should use a detox shampoo every time I use the K18 treatment. Because I believe using detox shampoo, especially on the first 6 washes will remove all the treatment, don’t you think so ?
