Ramon Dekkers would be proud. He was one of the finest exponents of Dutch-style kickboxing.

R.I.P. Diamond Dekkers. 💎

This is a really good combo. I like the leaping hook- then twisting hard with another right hook to the body. I’m definitely gonna teach my team this combo and practice it until it’s programmed in their heads.
Leading with a left hook can be dangerous though.

I think people forget the point of training combos. It’s for muscle memory so when you see an opening you can execute efficiently. However, something more important is situational awareness. This is a good combo against someone off balance, lazy, or just not ready (which is when all shots should be thrown). This is why the jab is important, someone with a good jab who is light on their feet would have you punching air. If you slip their jab though, this makes it viable, works very good as a counter and built in defense. Great video overall

Gazelle punch I will call that a leaping left hook and the rest of call the numbers from the peekaboo system 1, 6, 1, 3, 2 all hooks (left hook, right hook to the body/spleen, left to the jaw, left lead upper cut to the jaw over hand right to the temple or jaw.)

Tight 👍. I don’t understand the belts though. I transferred through Kickboxing, boxing, Muay Thai all we had was amateur or professional.Thai red band.🙏

May as well throw the hook he’s rolling for. Also I would add a slip on the inside before the upper over combo but that just my habits imo.

Question, what's the black belts for? Does dutch kickboxing have a ranking system, or are you guys kyokushin black belts that turned over to DKB

If I'm not wrong I think the first punch it's a Gazelle punch

Good combo but I don't like the over. Use of hooks. For me at least I like to throw a straight in there somewhere

Dutch kickboxing is technically just muay thai that has boxing footwork and head movement and kyokushin tactics

What’s with the belts and MT shorts….just doesn’t look right.

I admire the defender for keeping his cool concentration, demonstrated by not flinching as these fast blows come in.

When they say Heavy Hand (sorry for my ignorance) are they referring to pressing as much weight into each strike as possible or is it a measure of the speed of each strike? i.e. jab vs a hook.
