STRANGE ANCIENT HUMANOID DISCOVERED by Paleo-Anthropologists

Is the recently described species, Homo Longi, also known as the 'Dragon Man' actually an elusive Denisovan? It has recently become clear that several human lineages coexisted with Homo sapiens during the late Middle and Late Pleistocene. Here, we report an archaic human fossil that throws new light on debates concerning the diversification of the Homo genus and the origin of Homo sapiens. The fossil was recovered in Harbin city in northeastern China, with a minimum uranium-series age of 146 thousand years ago. This cranium is one of the best preserved Middle Pleistocene human fossils. Its massive size, with a large cranial capacity (1,420 mL) falling in the range of modern humans, is combined with a mosaic of primitive and derived characters.

So glad he clarified it was a replica. Otherwise, if it was neon green like that, I don’t think he should be in the same room with it

Best channel on YouTube, your videos are fascinating.

Interesting, I've heard it suggested on other videos, but this gives more reason to believe that This skull is probably a Denisovan. We can't say for sure yet, but I believe it probably is.

It's incredible that now we even sample the soil in these digs.

sure would be fine to find more fossils of these people. I suspect humans were not all that abundant in early times. we have more info on dinos than we do us. the planet was absolutely lousy with them LOL

Absolutely amazing ! Incredible how humans have evolved, into today’s humans, compared to early humans

Like button smashed! This video was exceptional not to mention cutting edge. Where else on the internet can such analytical and comprehensive content be found?? Superb work, Highly Compelling. Now the glaring white elephant is Out of Eurasia vs Out of Africa. I'm not certain how sophisticated current genealogical testing is, but numerous sub-Saharan genetic profiles indicate zero percent Neandertal ancestry. This evidence strongly suggests modern humans evolved in Africa as well as 9, 000+ kya ancient sub-Saharan DNA samples lacking Neandertal and Denisovan genes.

Consider if the first archaic hominin evolved in Eurasia from which Neandertals, Denisovans, and modern humans purportedly diverged then all subsequent populations should exhibit interbreeding events of varying degree. However, genetic evidence shows certain African populations have no Denisovan or Neandertal ancestry so again Out of Eurasia appears improbable. Can this evidence be reexamined to clarify which competing hypothesis is best supported? Thanks Highly Compelling!

*Great video and nothing is settled science* . The Dragon Man skull does have many of the features of a hypothesized Denisovan skull based on DNA Methylation. I'm cradling a human skull while watching this video and differences are very stark. The Dragon Man skull is very robust (likely a male with high Tesosterone) compared with a gracile, neotonous modern European male skull. The nasal aperture is significantly larger than a modern European male homo sapien. Why? Clearly a larger body with larger lungs (rib cages for both Neanderthals and hypothesized Denisovans flare out unlike modern humans, implying larger lungs) and for Ice Age conditions. Warming air by breathing through a large nose increases cardiovascular efficiency. I want to highlight that most examples used including the paper on DNA Methylation used a European male skull--not a Northeast Asian skull. What you will immediately discern is that the Northeast Male skull actually looks more like a Neanderthal skull with neotonous features: wider skull, longer mandible length, eyes set higher like a Neanderthal skull, and larger eye socket. From a surface anatomy perspective, Northeast Asian eyes (male and female) tend to look smaller due to an epicanthic fold or mono-lid.

Agree.... would be soo much better without the sound effects/music at least during narratives. So hard to focus and even to hear with them

Has anyone seen the report i can't find it again, but it said that denisovans were on average 7-8ft tall? All of a sudden i can't find that info anymore.

Wonder if they will ever find a permafrost preserved Neanderthals or denisovan ...I think our cromagnon ancestors would've been horrified by these immensely powerful aggressive brutal bestial opponents

I think it is possible that Bigfoot could be a relic mutated population of denisovens that are hairy and crossed land bridge to north America.

What is even multirregional at this point?
The tree is clear, we have a common origin in the end.
It's multirregional in the end, but it comes from some place in the beggining, gets mixed also, but at some point there was one population of us.
