Just got back from the game, very hot and humid, even in the evening! First half was good, second half was just nonstop mistakes from Japan, everyone in the crowd was getting pretty frustrated with all the missed opportunities. Still, finishing second is a pretty good result with such a young and inexperienced team!

The great suprise of this 🇫🇯 team is that it is probably the Drua Flying Fijians team with only around 5 overseas members in the squad. Exciting times for the Drua campaign in the Super Rugby Pacific 2025 season.

That 24-point rout literally buried the bookies points margin and the Flying Fijians were a totally different team in the 2nd half. Japan simply had no answers to a rampant Fiji side despite the consolation tries.

Curious what people think of the PNC. Personally, I think its the only realistic path for fiji and japan to improve. Seeing as world rugby, SANZAR, and 6 nations arent making things easy for either country. Maybe if the maori all blacks and Australia A take part as well? idk...
