Yeah! splendid, wonderful, tonality and dynamism sensibility is so beautiful and graceful. Concert Mistress Jansen well done at best, Oh! much more beautiful lady, especially her bowing articulation is so clear. Piano, Viola, Cello part is veryvery nice melody and rhythm touch (91yrs. Japanese) sorry strange English. Anyway this music is beautiful music.

Jansen is such a glittering virtuoso that she tends to steal the stage. But make no mistake: All these players are among the best anywhere. In particular I always seem to gravitate to chamber performances with Brovtsyn and I am grateful to be introduced to Amihai Grosz, whose tone and vibrato made a huge difference in this piece which has a lot of lovely highlights in the viola.

Wow, the pianissimo from the pianist at 22:00. Exquisite. What a beautiful instrument. Great timbre.

This work evokes many poignant memories of my childhood as my father used to listen to it nearly every night. I am now aged seventy-five years and most thankful to be able to watch it in performance. Truly lovely!

I just swung by to revisit the first few bars of the Scherzo, but what can I say? It's Dvořák!! I couldn't pass up a chance to enjoy the whole thing. Wonderful playing and balance amongst all players. Interesting to watch the visual stoicism of the cellist in contrast to the sheer drama and playfulness of the first violinist's expressions underscoring the moods of each passage. Each player led masterfully as Dvořák gave them their moments. Great stuff. I'LL BE WAITING for the next one!! 😉
