Attenuation is a key element in videogame sound design. It can be used in many different ways such as to give a sense of space or distance, fade between sounds, create ambience, and much more!
In this tutorial we’ll see how to nest multiple attenuation shapes by using the Sound Cue Attenuation Node. It can be a great technique for adding sonic details over distance to our ambient sounds.
