Sometimes 50 years ago can seem like only yesterday to me.

When Christopher Knight had his reality show, "My Fair Brady", Florence Henderson appeared during one episode. She even gave Christopher some motherly advice. It was nice to see that she really cared about her once TV son.

My sister and I loved Jan. She was envious, oversensitive and insecure- like both of us were sometimes. We liked her because she wasnt perfect.

Like a lot of kids growing up in the 70’s TV was the great escape. Childhood trauma and abuse was a thing. TV shows were the escape and the Brady bunch helped with loneliness, fear and depression. Not a cure but definitely a helping hand. I hope that some of these fine actors know how they helped. 🙏

I can never get enough of the Brady kids reunions on TV like the very Brady renovation a few years ago, the more reunions they can have the better, I just love those guys! There will come a time when not all the Brady kids will be around any longer, so the more we can have them today while they're all still here the better!

I was so in love with Eve Plumb when I was a kid. She defined beauty in my eyes. I hope her life is a happy one.

Always love the episodes with Jan and Marcia -- especially if they has scenes together. From all accounts, the cast is a lot like a family that has grown up and moved on from each other, but maintains warm feelings towards each other with occasional reunions.

Substance abuse can become anyone's problem regardless of how attractive they may be. Maureen McCormick was very honest about it in her book and even spoke of Barry Williams' use, which it seems she must have gotten his OK to do. Speaking of Barry Williams I went to an event at a Dave and Buster's that he was hosting and was able to get him to autograph my copy of Growing Up Brady: I was a Teenage Greg.

I watched the show constantly growing up. The recent Brady Renovation show was absolutely great. You could tell they were all having a blast with the Property Brothers. My favorite was when Richard Rawlings from Gas Monkey Garage drove up in a souped up version of the old station wagon at the end of the series. The looks on their faces was priceless. Their show made my childhood that much better and I am forever thankful to all of them.

Like any family, whether real life or the TV variety, there will be some dysfunction. That can hold back so many from finding happiness. Too many wasted years. Time marches on and we've lost a few members of the Brady family already. I'm glad Maureen and Eve reconciled. Thanks for posting, Dave!

That HGTV reno on the original home (exterior shots only) was a blast. So fun seeing the cast teamed up with the HGTV folks and an opportunity for all to spend more than a few hours together than just on a Comic Con panel but actually catch up. Maureen even got a short run test for her own HGTV show that wasn't picked up. I'm sure they had reservations about it going in but it sure seems like it was a big success and a boost to whatever they had going on. I think if I remember correctly C Knight was already involved in house flipping and was the strongest of the group.

As a young kid in the 70s, I would have loved to have been a part of the Brady family!

Mr. & Mrs. Brady *always* were loving and kind to each other and to all of the kids.

It was idyllic- I know - but it would have been great to have a smart, cool older brother like Greg or even Peter. Bobby always seemed about my age and we could play Matchbox cars or Hot Wheels or Tonka trucks in the backyard sandbox.

And having cool older sisters like Jan or Marcia to give me sage sisterly advice growing up would have been awesome.

Alice of course would have a tantalizing hearty dinner ready right on time - along with her funny jokes.

Don’t get me wrong, I DID grow up in a wonderful family. But like all families, we had some problems. Money was a problem and my dad had to be gone for long stretches of time to work a job that barely made ends meet. So I was a lonely kid.

And the Brady’s seemed like such a wonderful, loving, fun family.

Would have been great. Sigh…. If it could be 1972 forever..

And I always liked Jan and Peter. (But, I am not a middle child myself) I realized that Marcia was prettier, but I thought Jan was also pretty and she was more interesting.

My favorite Brady was part of the Brady household; but, not really part of the family. Ann B. Davis. Most people younger than me remember her best from The Brady Bunch; but, I will never forget her role as Schultzy on The Bob Cummings Show.
