Was wondering a few months ago if I should upgrade my iPhone 8 to the 13 pro max or just wait for the 14. I’m so glad I didn’t wait. Very underwhelming changes. Will probably have my 13 for a few years and hopefully by the time they get to iPhone 17 or whatever it will be a new experience. Tired of this recycling of the previous phone

Wow, wish Steve Jobs was still alive, these new iPhones look more or less the same as the previous year. I think Apple is not willing to go the bold way in designing phones.

Apple singlehandedly reinforcing that new phones every year are unnecessary. 2 year product cycles are far more practical. Hype up incremental features/specs vs waiting for actual improvement.

I upgraded from a Samsung s9 to a 13 pro max last year. After watching the apple event, there are not big changes. I'll wait until next year to get a phone at least.

I have an iPhone 12 Pro max, I switch my phone every 5 years. To me that’s how long it takes to see some real changes and improvements. The iPhone 14 🤔 eeh not impressed.

No SIM card tray + same A15 as last year? Also possible crash detection accidently calling 911 when you drop your phone hard? 14 isn't really looking worth it when 13 starts at $599 now.

I won’t be upgrading this year because I refuse to get rid of my one handed mini. A 5 minute charge gets me 1 hour of calls. And it’s one handed!!!
