Such a huge positive for the defense that the LBs are back to being a strength. I remember too many Saturdays when our DBs led the team in tackles and the guys in the middle were not getting it done. Excited to watch John Curry. Love it when local guys succeed anywhere, but it is even sweeter when it's here.

Keith Patterson was one of the better coordinators between the Mike Leach and Joey McGuire eras. I really appreciated the improvement the defense showed, during his time in Lubbock.

Like yall said we have had some and continue to have spectacular LBs at Tech. We have a stretch and continue the stretch of great LBs. Our defense is fun to watch. The less we see the defense on the field the better. 3 and outs, fumbles, interceptions ect. When we do see them I know they are going to shine. Offense should be the unit with the time spent most on the field dictating and dominating. The points, time of possession, the yards, ect. Dingle sounds like a high flyer character. Curry sounds spicy. Lets see what they can do.
