Σύμφωνα με δημοσίευμα της ιστοσελίδας του Συριακού Παρατηρητηρίου Ανθρωπίνων Δικαιωμάτων, πηγές του ανέφεραν, ότι ένα μη επανδρωμένο εναέριο όχημα, το οποίο δεν διακρινόταν σε ποιον άνηκε, πραγματοποίησε χτύπημα, στην περιοχή της Jarabulus, στο βορειοανατολικό Χαλέπι.
Πιο συγκεκριμένα, το UAV εξαπέλυσε επίθεση εναντίον στόχου, κοντά στο πέρασμα al-Hamran, το οποίο βρίσκεται υπό την κατοχή των φιλότουρκων, δηλαδή των υποστηριζόμενων από την Τουρκία, ανταρτών και το οποίο επίσης, είναι κοντά στο μέτωπο με τους Κούρδους του SDF.
Αν και όπως προ είπαμε, ήταν δύσκολο να αναγνωριστεί η προέλευση του, δηλαδή ήταν αγνώστου ταυτότητας, πιστεύεται ότι ανήκε στη διεθνή συμμαχία που δρα στη Συρία, υπό την ηγεσία των ΗΠΑ.
