BT-5, T-28, T-50, SU-122, BT-7M in no particular order.
My personal favourite at low tier is the BR 1.7 T-28. For 76 (mm) reasons.

Then theres the BT-5 to BT-7M once you down the ampunt of shells to 20-30

If you really look and think about it, without the T-50 or the T34-85, we would not have a thing such as a T-72 (including other models with ERA ). The turret of the T34-85 is basically the same as the T44 which was the start of modern/soviet cold War tanks.

Here's my list based on the actual usability of the tanks:

5. T34 1941. Basically the 1940 but better
4. T70 slow turret but usable gun and crazy good armor for how fast it is (plus it's 2.0 so you can shred in downtiers)
3. KV1 (L11). Invincible, especially in downtiers. Also it's gun is good and has access to the Md8 round.
2. T28 (the normal one, not the 1938 or t28e) absolute monster. Has access to the md5 round, making it the tiger of 2.0. Armor lacks, but nearly impossible to one shot. Also it can downtier to 1.0, where it will take numerous shots to kill you.
1. Obviously the BT5. It's better than the BT7 and BT7M in about every way. AND it's only 1.0. This tank is worth using even going into rank II. It has no armor but it is such a good tank to use.

Kv-1 is Accurate because i used it once and I was Tanking Plenty of Shots.

T34 stz had a front plate that has added armor (it can stop a jadg tiger shot in some places while angled)

Reserve bt5 is the greatest reserve in the game. 53 kph and a decent gun, fast reload and good reaction speeds. Awesome tank

The Kv-1 is insanely good, if you angle it you're almost invincible.

T-28 at 2.3 is a monster. Most ppl dont know how to kill u in 1 shot or use shitty AP rounds and your APHE with 70mms of pen one shots everything effortlessly unless its the 105mm M4 or a good angling pz3

So basically it wont matter what nation you play, as every tree is just a mix of random tanks. Very cool bruh.
