I agree with your ranking but I would like to rectify one thing. You said that Frankfurt was destroyed during WWII "unlike Munich or Berlin"... Berlin almost disappeared from the map because of WWII bombings. The architecture of the city you can see today is mainly from the 60s. It remains a crazy cool city to visit though.

I really to enjoyed my stay there. Your points are valid! Definitly. But it has it's charme. You feel like there are endless possibilities to have a great time e.g. like visit gorgeous exhibitions (e.g. the getty museum which has the best view over LA is for free!), interesting town parts like Korea- or Chinatown, concerts with artists that never come to europe, cute cafes.. And Venice Beach is wonderful to have walk even more in the off season.
