I was offered combination drug therapy for my RA, consisting of Methotrexate and Hydroxychloroquine. After researching, I opted to take just the Hydroxychloroquine. I've been on it for over 20 years with no ill effect.

I had the abdominal pains and hair loss. It also affected my nails, which became very brittle. Dizziness and fatigue are also an issue. It’s a horrible drug.

Correct me if I'm wrong here, please. Isn't Methotrexate 1) a Vitamin B12/Folic Acid inhibitor, which would up the ante for neural tube defects like Spina bifida in a developing infant, and 2) a chemotherapy agent for leukemia and other cancers?

Isn't it also given in lower doses to autoimmune disorder patients than cancer patients?

As someone with severe rheumatoid arthritis who took Rasuvo for years, I really don’t think this is funny.
Is it supposed to be funny?
